IYC Director Paul Papadatos and IYC Youth Board Member Maria Matthews met with Monash University Students Paul Thevathayan, Kelly Shi, and Vaishnevy Athithan who had commenced their group placement with IYC. Paul T., Kelly, & Vaishnevy will be consulting with Paul P. & Maria over the summer period on policy planning and making for IYC. The student group will be creating internal organisational policies for IYC with the key areas being governance, finance, and risk management. Their work will help IYC gain further direction as a organisation in the wider community. In the meantime, they will be drawing on their knowledge from their bachelor degrees in Law & Finance Management while they gain knowledge of the youth and community sector from IYC.
