Innovation Youth Centre celebrated Children's Week 2023 with an Intergenerational Community Drop In. IYC participants were encouraged to bring their younger siblings, who were able to experience a range of activities including making play dough, Lego building, video games, a chill out area and drawing or colouring in. Children attending had the choice of which activities they.participated in, and engaged with older participants throughout the program. This was a successful program, with many children having fun and feeling a sense of agency, as well as experiencing an IYC program that they can engage in regularly in the future.
