IYC Has its First Student Youth Worker Placement

Writer's picture: Innovation Youth CentreInnovation Youth Centre

Innovation Youth Centre is proud to announce its first student youth worker placement as in the start of 2018. Victoria University Bachelor of Youth Work student Maria Matthews will be working alongside the youth worker team of IYC during her final year of her undergrad. Maria was initially a member of the IYC Youth Reference Group and had been supported by Paul Papadatos in entering her studies. Her transition to being a youth worker in her placement will pioneer future student placements in youth work, social work, and community work with IYC. We look forward to what her energy and enthusiasm can bring to this new role and to the organisation.
